AI jobs upload the PDF's text to peedf and an AI provider to be processed. The PDF file itself is discarded after text extraction; results are kept for a limited time, then deleted. The other peedf tools never upload your files.

What happens to your file

  • AI jobs upload your PDF to peedf. We extract its text and discard the file straight away.
  • The text is sent to an AI provider to answer your request, then deleted from peedf when the job ends.
  • Results are kept for 24 hours, then deleted. Only the browser that ran the job can open them.
  • AI can miss things. For contracts and financials, check the cited pages.
